Wow!!!! Was thinking nonstop, why I didn’t know these artists? There were so many associations to places, people and music in my life that the viewer becomes part of the community. How beautiful.

The stories are so engaging. So much to absorb! I enjoyed the content and the emotions shared by the artists as well as the unique photography. Oooh the textures and side angles included in the [mural] montages! I found myself enjoying many little tidbits as well as the composition of the film as a whole. It is a gift to know that these artists all exist and the contributions they are making to the world. Really innovative and important. A feast for the senses. I like that, as I’m watching the series, I’m learning things (for example, the cassette tape documentarian or someone’s unique perspective based on their life experience) while at the same time enjoying art and music that I would otherwise not have known about. All the artists are very articulate about their work and intentions.
